Low-cost, reliable launch boosters for winged drones in the 20–100 kg class — rapid flight from stationary, with connectors for a wide range of airframes.
MB-K2/A2 · K3/A3 · K4/A4 → MBM — IN DEVELOPMENTLow-cost, AI-managed anti-drone missiles for the localised, rapid-deploy defence of fixed sites — multiple targeting techniques across a defended arc.
Roadmap → GUILDFORD · 200 ACRESOpen and wooded flying areas to 3,500 ft, 100+ NATO and Soviet vehicles for 3D mapping, and units and workshops for companies developing drone technologies.
The site →The Mighty B range gets winged drones in the 20–100 kg category airborne fast, from a standing start. Each booster offers specific performance characteristics — but all share the same design intent: low cost, reliable performance and ease of use.
They work with any drone type and are optimised for winged airframes. A range of connectors adapts the boosters across a wide variety of platforms. The design is currently being finalised for production.
Each size in the range is offered in two variants — a K series and an A series — so K2 pairs with A2, K3 with A3 and K4 with A4, giving two performance options within the same payload class.
| Variants | Class | Profile | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| MB-K2 / A2 | Light — 20–40 kg | Short, high-frequency launch | Productionising |
| MB-K3 / A3 | Medium — 40–70 kg | Balanced thrust & reach | Productionising |
| MB-K4 / A4 | Heavy — 70–100 kg | Maximum boost, heavy airframes | Productionising |
Each size is available as a K-series or A-series variant. Indicative performance bands during development — contact us for airframe-specific data and connector options.
Finalise productionisation of the K and A series boosters across the 20–100 kg class, with the full connector range for third-party airframes.
Stage 2 is to develop the booster into a complete anti-drone system — carrying the proven booster platform through to the Mighty B Missile effector and its AI-driven management layer.
As the boosters mature, we are developing them into a range of low-cost anti-drone missiles — localised, rapid-deploy systems for the short-to-medium-range defence of fixed sites.
Managed by an AI-driven system, they will engage multiple targets located in the defended arc using multiple targeting techniques and anti-swarm capabilities.
Over 200 acres of open and wooded ground for flight testing, with clearance to 3,500 ft today and higher working heights available where required. It is a genuinely good area for flying tests, trials and development work.
On site we hold 100+ NATO and Soviet military vehicles — available for 3D mapping to build drone-training datasets. Our development team can also adapt vehicles to resemble other types as required.
The estate is not just airspace. We have units and workshops available for companies developing drone technologies — giving you a base on the range itself, with the flying areas, the vehicle fleet and our development team on the doorstep.
Flying areas, 3D-mapping opportunities and on-site units and workshops are available to partners — call for details and current availability.
Our unique mix of facilities lets partner companies develop their own products alongside us. Targeting is a fast-growing area of interest, and AI management is the direction of our targeting and planning systems.
Saitech Defence is a fast-growing start-up developing unique solutions for the world of drone and anti-drone products. We are able to produce and develop quickly and efficiently — using UK manufacture, either in our own facilities or with known UK suppliers.
Today we are a team of three, with plans to grow as we raise finance and sell services. We are looking to expand both our product range and our development opportunities, and to work with partners across our key areas.
For product data, connector options, range and 3D-mapping opportunities, or partnership discussions — call for details, or send us a note and we'll come back to you.
